Wednesday night, it was an honor and a privilege to share Tiny Hands International with 30 students and leaders at Hillside Missionary Church. I was blessed by the response by the these students had answer the call that God placed in their hearts to "Do Something" about the injustice of Human trafficking. They are wanting to raise awareness about Human Trafficking in their schools. It is always great to be able to share with friends and teammates in the fight. A brand "new" thing

Welcome back, it has indeed been awhile. I am aiming to rectify that. I know you all are wanting to know what "new" thing is happening. Well, as of January 1, the Andrews family has stepped out in faith and answered Gods call on our lives to serve as full time missionaries with Tiny Hands international. Tiny Hands is a ministry who is "particularly called to orphans, street children, women’s empowerment and those threatened by, or victims of the sex-trafficking industry." Tiny Hands work is based in Nepal, India, and Bangladesh.
My title is that of Director of Midwest Development, which means I have the honor of raising awareness of this great ministry as well as raising funds to assist the ministry. One of Tiny Hands core values is "doing much with little." All of the stateside staff need raise their own support.I am in process of finding those that are willing to stand with us in an effort to minister to the "least of these."
Friends we need your help. We have to have a minimum of 50 people stand with us for at least $25 a month by June 1 to continue the call that God has placed before us, to serve as a "Voice for the Voiceless."
Will you stand with us? Will you standing in the gap for "the least of these?" Then simply click Here go to choose a charity scroll down and click on "Jon and Alison Andrews." Then fill in the blanks, simple as that.
Thank You!
Jon

Here is a quote from on of our ministry partners Pastor Earl Smith of Granger Missionary Church:
"Twice now Jon has left the people of Granger Missionary Church in tears. Jon's first hand accounts of injustice in the world leaves us crying in deperation for the Lord to do something, and Jon's passion for the oppressed, abused and enslaved causes us to ask how we can help. In a world where the stories of "the least of these " often go unheard, Jon's voice must be heard, and the work of Tiny Hands International must be shared. If you desire your people to catch a vision for helping the least, the lost and the hurting, then investing in Jon and Tiny Hands is a great move."

Questions?
| Reactions: |
Lately I seem to have more questions than answers. I would like a little help finding the answers.
Where if anywhere, in the bible does it say that we need to pray a prayer to be "saved."
If you are "saved" should't your life look different?
Is it me or does it seem that we are more concerned with our kids making the "A" team than their relationship with the Lord?
Lord, I know that you don't give us more than we can handle. My friend seems to be "handling" an awful lot. Could you please lighten her load?
Can we expect a move of God if our lives aren't displaying a move of God?
Do you have any homeless friends? Why not?
When we pray the Lords prayer, do we really mean it? "Thy kingdom come," if that would happen how many of our friends would be spending eternity in hell?
Why in worship songs when we sing about putting our hands in the air, do we do that? And when it says "bow down" we don't do that?

Questions
Who will Go?

A friend of mine recently sent me a link to this song. I have found it to be very convicting. After watching this I would like to know if you will go?
Simple thoughts from a simple guy

I must admit that as I have sat back and thought/prayed about what is going on in the world around sometimes I have more questions than answers. I last month or so I have discovered a lot of things some I will share with you today. I am open for feed back regarding any of the questions or answers posed here.
I was reminded this week while filling up our van with gas this week and complaining about how much it cost. that, I am one of the wealthiest 9% in the world because I have a vehicle to put gas in.
I suddenly became very grateful for that blessing.
My 5 year old son asked me this week to "tweet" Trevor Bayne, the nascar driver, and" tell him about Tiny Hands International because if you love Jesus then you should help the boys and girls that people are trying to hurt." I am waiting on a response from Mr. Bayne.
I realized that Joseph was the first trafficking victim mentioned in the bible.
He was sold into slavery by his family.
Are we effectively tying one hand behind Gods back by not allowing the Holy Spirit, and all the gifts that entails, to move freely in our lives?
Sunday's coming!
2.87% of regular church attenders tithe.
$70 from every person in the US would provide clean water for everyone in the world.
HMMM that would be a tax I would gladly pay.
The average cost for a slave in 1760, $15,000 to $450,00 (2011 dollars)
The average cost of a slave today $100.
Now that I am running again I am reminded of what Paul meant when he said we need to "beat our bodies."
What does that mean for you?
SUNDAY IS COMING!
Like I stated earlier these are some thoughts that have been running around inside of me.
